Tim L. Boyd – Administrator 
Tim has been in education for 34 years. He received his bachelor’s degree in education from the U of A and has since earned a Master’s in Education and another in Administration. He was an elementary teacher for 23 years, teaching 2nd to 6th grades. This is his 11th year as an elementary school principal – 7 years in public schools and is currently in his 5th year at FLA. Tim has spent many years coaching sports; baseball from T-ball age children to high school students at Sahuaro HS, soccer, football and even some tennis. He has always loved kids and wanted to help kids grow academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally. He loves traveling, the outdoors and spending time with his two sons and daughter-in-law, one living in Colorado and another still in Tucson. Tim has been supported and encouraged by his wonderful wife Gena, for almost 34 years.

Joyce Kerns – Administrative Assistant
Joyce worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Worship Pastor at Blanchard Alliance Church in Wheaton Illinois for 13 years before moving with her family to Tucson in 2010. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Kings College in New York. Joyce works along side Tim to help provide a positive, encouraging and helpful experience for parents and students alike. She has a wealth of knowledge in order to help any situation go smoothly. Melissa Leon – Kindergarten
Melissa has a BA in Early Childhood Education, from the University of Arizona. Melissa has been married to Achilles Leon since June 2011. Melissa feels very blessed to be teaching at such a wonderful school, where she is able to worship and share the love of Jesus.

Linda Mañas – First Grade
Linda recently graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She also received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Christian Education, and is certified with the state of Arizona to teach K-8th grade.

Linda Feltheim – Second Grade
Linda graduated from Penn State University and taught for five years in the Chicago area. She and her husband moved their family to her hometown of Tucson in 2003. Before coming to FLA in 2007. She plays clarinet in Christ Community’s orchestra and she and her husband are Sunday School Nursery directors.

Mike Steele – Second Grade
Mike has been at Family Life Academy since 2007. Before coming to Family Life Academy he taught, at different times, grades 1-2 and 4-6 at Ford Elementary school in Tucson for 35 years. His degree is in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona.

Amanda Quinn – Third Grade
Amanda has her Elementary Education degree from the University of Arizona. She believes that children are precious in the sight of God and capable of loving, obeying, and worshiping Him. One of her favorite scriptures is Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.”

Jeff Yeager – Fourth Grade
Jeff Yeager feels incredibly blessed that God has led him to teach at Family Life Academy. After teaching public school for 30 years, having taught 1st through 7th grades, Jeff diligently sought God’s plan for his second career. God opened the door for him to serve here at Family Life Academy, and he couldn’t be more thrilled!

Louanne Oppel – Fifth/Sixth Grade
Louanne Oppel received two bachelor’s degrees from Southwestern College in Phoenix. Louanne got a job teaching 3rd through 8th grade Gifted Education in the Amphitheater School District where she was for seven years. In 2007, Louanne accepted a position here at Family Life Academy.
