Family Life Academy

Mr. Yeager

Jeff Yeager feels incredibly blessed that God has led him to teach at Family Life Academy. After teaching public school for 30 years, having taught 1st through 7th grades, Jeff diligently sought God’s plan for his second career. While he was waiting on God’s clear direction, he began taking seminary classes through Liberty University and worked with a small construction company. Last Summer Jeff felt God leading him to disciple children in addition to the adults he discipled. He started teaching first grade Sunday school at his home church, El Camino Baptist. As the year progressed, he felt God’s prompting to pursue a job in Christian education. God opened the door for him to serve here at Family Life Academy, and he couldn’t be more thrilled!

In addition to teaching Sunday School, Jeff serves on the Elder Board at his church, teaches the adult New Member’s class, and sings in the Sanctuary Choir. He has been married over three decades to Diane, who serves as the Director of Children’s Ministries at their home church.  He has four adventurous adult sons and one amazing daughter-in-law.

Jeff is looking forward to helping his students grow in their relationship with Christ as well as growing academically. He believes that there is no better place to be than serving the Lord where He has placed you, and he fully believes God has clearly led him to Family Life Academy!
