Steele & Feltheim
Linda Feltheim teaches second grade as well as art and library at Family Life Academy. Linda graduated from Penn State University and taught for five years in the Chicago area. For four of those years she was her school’s literacy teacher, and she has a particular interest in children’s literature and literacy issues (and she’ll talk Austen with anyone who will give her the time). She and her husband moved their family to her hometown of Tucson in 2003. Before coming to FLA in 2007, Linda was a stay-at-home mom to her two children, coordinating neighborhood playgroups, volunteering in children’s ministries, and participating in Bible studies. She plays clarinet in Christ Community’s orchestra and she and her husband are Sunday School Nursery directors.

Mike has been a Christian since 1968. Our family has worshipped and been involved at Christ Community Church since 1993. He has been at Family Life Academy since 2007. Before coming to Family Life Academy he taught, at different times, grades 1-2 and 4-6 at Ford Elementary school in Tucson for 35 years. His degree is in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona. He really enjoys teaming with Mrs. Feltheim and is blessed to be part of a staff seeking to make Family Life Academy a school that brings glory to our Lord.
